VIENNA, VA — Vienna’s businesses are sharing ways they are reaching customers during the new coronavirus outbreak.
Restaurants have been refocusing efforts on pick-up and delivery due to Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s public health emergency order banning more than 10 customers in restaurants, fitness centers and theaters. Violation of the order is considered a criminal offense.
The Vienna Business Association created a Facebook group for businesses to share how they’re reaching customers. While membership is only open to businesses, anyone can view the posts.
Some possible ways to continue supporting local businesses include purchasing gift cards, take-out, or delivery. With the new coronavirus being a fluid situation, customers should check individual business social media pages or websites for updates on their operating status.
Here are just a few of the businesses who have adapted to the coronavirus situation. If you don’t see your favorite business listed, let us know in the comments.
