Jet to power home
The ninth race on the Parx card, a $16,000 starter optional claimer over six-and-one-half-furlongs, plays host to the best bet on the card in the shape of the one horse Hollywood Jet.
The selection has impressed in winning each of his five starts, including at this level over this track and trip back in October. Since then, the son of Uncaptured has won three times over six furlongs here by an aggregate of eight lengths, including in a lower grade starter optional claimer by six-and-a- half-lengths on a muddy track on his penultimate start.
Regular pilot Luis Ocasio is on again and was in the saddle when employing his usual front-running tactics to score by half-a-length upped to stakes company for the first time when returning to a fast track in the Fishtown Stakes just under a month ago.
The four-year-old delivered a career-best figure on that occasion and, having drawn the rail, he looks capable of getting the better of Thousand Percent, who is drawn just outside him.
The drop in grade is a positive here and he looks capable of registering a sixth consecutive victory and an eighth win in 13 starts in total.

Maybe for glory
The switch from an allowance contest to a starter allowance can see Maybe After Later resume winning ways in the eighth race on the Parx card, a contest on the main track over a mile-and-seventy-yards for horses aged three-and-up.
The selection has proven competitive at this level in the past having finished runner-up when beaten two lengths at this venue in January when making his penultimate start.
He tried to make all on that occasion and having been unable to dominate when fading into fourth, beaten six-and-a-half-lengths over seven-furlongs-and-twenty-four-yards here subsequently, this return to a starter allowance looks likely to suit.
Representing the track’s leading trainer in Jamie Ness, the selection has won on three of his 10 starts at this venue, with the most recent of those coming when scoring by four-and-a-quarter-lengths in a starter optional claiming contest three starts back.
His jockey that day, Frankie Pennington, is on board for the first time since that triumph and the pair are taken to register a fourth victory together in what looks a competitive contest.

Doubletake for maiden success
Shez A Doubletake has proven she can be competitive at this level when placing second and only beaten by one-and-three-quarter-lengths in a five-and-one-half-furlong event here last month.
She had previously delivered a solid head second in a higher grade at Penn National in February and, while those efforts came on a muddy track and sloppy track respectively, the return to a likely fast track here should prove no inconvenience having finished on the board twice in maiden special weight contests on a fast surface in 2020.
Handler J Tyler Servis can boast a 22 per cent strike-rate at this meeting and his daughter of Fed Biz can provide him and jockey Jose A Gomez with a winner.
