Limerick Business Creekside Sports Bar Needs Your Support

The new coronavirus has changed life for all of us. Local businesses have taken a huge economic hit, but communities are finding creative ways to support the establishments they know and love.

In an effort to help local businesses in our communities stay connected and succeed, Patch will shine a light on some of them through a series of Q&A articles during this time.

Creekside Sports Bar is one of the businesses in town facing struggles during the coronavirus. You can lend your support by reading more about the company, below, and by contacting them here.

Tell us about your business and its history in your town.

We’ve been around for a long time, but people might not recognize the name. We were originally the Sandtrap Bar on the Limerick Golf Club grounds. We purchased the location in 2014 and renamed it Creekside Sports Bar and Landis Creek Golf Club. Since 2014, many upgrades and improvements have been done, and they continue to this day. We are locally family owned and operated.

How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?

It’s forced us to become just a take-out location. The majority of our 50-plus employees are currently just waiting until the day they can come back to work and see familiar faces.

How can local customers support you now and in the future?

We offer take-out food and beer every day from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., as well as gift cards available to purchase for future use.

Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?

Stay safe and healthy. We will get through this together.

Are you offering any special services, promotions or hours during this time?

We offer daily specials on our Facebook page. We also offer curbside pick up upon request.

Are there any other outstanding businesses in town you think deserve some community support?

There are many locally owned business that need everyone’s support now. Places like Sunshine Cafe, Limerick Hardware and Piazza Presto, but there will be many more once they are able to open.
