Most Metro Denver Small Businesses Believe They’ll Recover: Study

Denver’s metro area has the 6th highest percentage of small business owners who believe they’ll recover from the pandemic, according to a new report. The study compared business optimism in the nation’s 50 largest metro areas.

LendingTree analysts took results from the Census Bureau’s Small Business Pulse Survey and calculated the percentage of small business owners in each metro area who reported that they believe their business will and won’t recover from the coronavirus pandemic.

In metro Denver, 94.3 percent of small business owners believe they’ll recover from the pandemic and 64.4 percent believe it’ll take four months or more, according to the report.

Austin small businesses are the least optimistic — 16.5 percent say their business won’t return to levels seen a year ago. San Antonio, Texas, is the 2nd-least optimistic city, followed by San Jose, California.
